After being out of work for far too long I finally have a job!!

I’ll be working for  a company called Dial Global. The company is a prep service for radio stations. Basically the company compiles all kinds of news, gossip and entrainment stories and makes a kind of cliff’s notes version to send to radio stations all over the country. It’s so morning shows won’t have to come in at 3am and read every single newspaper, magazine and website . So I’ll be working for this company and gathering some of the prep info, I’ll also be doing some editing and audio production. I’m very excited about this because it means I can still have my hands in the radio biz. The company is located in the heart of Times Square in New York City. I’ll be packing my bags and making the move pretty soon! I start work on June 14th so I’m running around like a nut looking for an apartment. I’m very excited and very nervous! I’ve always wanted to live in New York but was always a bit chicken to really make the move. I’ll be surrounded by the greatest comedy clubs in country so I’ll be forced to step up my comedy game! I’m still working out living arrangements etc. but I’ll keep you guys posted as things progress!!  Keep your fingers crossed that I don’t end up a homesick baby!!
