The Roommate Search Is In Full Swing, You Should Pray For Me!

So the roommate search hasn’t been going as well as I expected. I’ve come across quite a few lunatics who are looking for people to live with them. My goal during this whole process was to try to avoid anyone with serial killer potential. Again, not going so well. Below are a few real ads for roommates. One I found online and the other was in response to an ad I posted looking for a roommate…

So this was just annoying, don’t put in your ad that the room is furnished with a “loft style bed” when the bed is clearly just a broken set of bunk beds!!

This next one is a gem!

Um…this is beyond insane!!! First of all why are you wearing diapers?!?! Second of all why you post that in an ad?!?!?

Below is another stellar roommate opportunity!! It’s bad when you feel like you’re being yelled at via email!! He found me, I didn’t go looking for him, I’m so lucky!

He’s apparently very greedy when it comes to cable TV, he has it in his room and refuses to share. Also there is no wifi which leads me to believe that he would ultimately like for there to be no contact with the outside world!! #8 seems weird to me, would I have to move out someone else’s crap if I were to move in? But he’s very thoughtful to tell me I can “Used” whatever the previous roommate left! And last but not least he dose seem truly sorry that I can’t have a pet. Since he seems sincere, he just moved up on my maybe list!!
